How to experience Silence or Nothingness?

Q) Silence or Nothingness can be experienced only when the mind chatter stops.

Ans.) To stop or subside the mind chatter, one has to de-focus from everything that is external and internal also. The mind has to be de-focused from every noise whether it is external or internal. In fact, all noise arises from within. The attachment towards a thought transforms to noise. And, every noise is a disturbance and takes us away or deviates us from Silence.
