Thought and Life

Thought and Life!

Acknowledged a thought,
Pondered on it, and
Created a story,
that led to a life.

The conditioning developed,
entangled the soul
to repeat life after life,
stuck into the wheel of karma.

One day,
a Questioner questioned.
and lo the conditioning paused,
looked within, to enter
into the realm of unconditional,
that led to understanding of the Life,

One day,
The Questioner,
the question and
the answer,
have become one
and merged into the Nothingness.

Lost in the Love of Infinite!

Lost in the Love of Infinite!

Entering the realm of unknown, untread path,
lost in the wilderness of Nothingness,
lost the life of the world, and
lost everything in the love of the Infinite.

Searched in everything, and
could not find anything and anyone,
including myself, and
became aware that,
lost everything in the love of the Infinite.

Stripped off all identities,
standing naked in front of the dazzling darkness,
singing the silent song of Nothingness,
the lover lost and died,
to resurrect in the beloved,
finally merged into the Beloved and
the Lover lost in the love of the Infinite.

Melting!

Melting!

In the vastness of the clear blue sky,
In the vastness of the wavy blue ocean,
In the chirping's of birds and the coo's of Cuckoo,
Lost all identities of mine,
merged and melted into that Eternal Nothingness.

Who is who?
What is what?
Nothing exists.
Every identity is gone,
Except the beingness.
Merged and melted into that Eternal Nothingness.

The horizon has lost its boundaries,
The sky stopped showing its limitations,
The nature gave way to the boundless,
The Cosmos has embraced the one,
who has become aware of
the eternal presence of Awareness.
Merged and melted into that Eternal Nothingness.

Neither joy, nor sorrow;
Neither resentment, nor repentance;
Neither knowing, nor unknowing;
Neither darkness nor light;
Neither feelings nor emotions;
Nothing existed.
Merged and melted into that Eternal Nothingness.

The I, you, we;
Everything gone and disappeared,
Nothing exists.
Merged and melted into that Eternal Nothingness.

Known and Unknown

Known and Unknown!

Beautiful spring season outside,
for the Unknown it brings joy.
For the Known every season is spring inside
for the Known it is beyond seen, heard or perceived,
it is beyond the mind.

There is this movement outside,
for the Unknown it brings up activity.
For the Known there is stillness inside,
for the Known it is full of activity in that stillness,
it is beyond the Silence.
It is the activity of that eternal Nothingness,
melting and merging into Nothingness.

Who you want to be?
The Known or the Unknown?

The Unknown craves for every identity.
The Known lets go every identity.
Alas, every identity is an entanglement and binds,
keeps away from freedom.

Letting go all the knowledge, wisdom, and myriad identities,
Merging into the eternal Nothingness,
Anchoring in the Eternity,
Getting lost into Nothingness
Becoming the Known of Nothing.
Become Nothing.

The Fragrance of Stillness!

The Fragrance of Stillness!

A silent afternoon,
the air stilled,
chirping of birds faded into the stillness,
the sun's rays stilled into the air,
the air stilled itself into the sunlight,
the stillness breathed out its fragrance.

The consciousness entered
into a realm unknown to the mind,
noumenon beyond comprehension,
all phenomena ceased their existences,
gentle stillness breathed out its fragrance.

The identity struggling to identify
with the happening lost its identity.
The happening present all by itself
stilled everything around its vicinity,
and gently breathed out its fragrance.

The who, why, what, where,
disappeared into the vastness
of the silent surroundings.
Enveloped in the waveless,
mind entering into stillness,
breath slowing down,
consciousness enwrapped into stillness
breathed out its fragrance.

Why we need to buy locally?

Why we need to buy locally?

The present scenario has made people to buy goods locally. But, is it something new to India? Absolutely not. Indians always had a habit of buying locally. It is the westernization that has influenced most of the last two generations to buy online and the globalization has added to this aspect.

What are the benefits of buying locally?

  1. You get a trusted product - you can go and verify
  2. You support your own neighbour there by enhancing the lives of the people in the nearby community.
  3. High reduction in carbon footprint as the distance travelled from the manufacturer to the user will be less.
  4. In case of substandard product repair or replacement is easier and as trust has to be built up over a period of time, the seller also follows ethical practices. Because if there is no localy buyer, he can't sell anywhere.
  5. One should not sell globally any of the goods as they not only create vested interests, they also tempt the manufacturers to follow non-ethical practices and we don't even know whether the manufacturer is producing the goods by following ethical practices or not. In case where the manufacturer might sell the product at a throw away price then, there could be instances where they are not providing proper environment for their employees. Globalization has led to more corruption in the world than the actual benefits. The technology along with globalization has globalized the diseases which were suppose to be local.

There are more benefits in buying locally in long term. For the time being the above points are good enough.
