What is death?

What is death?

It just doesn't matter. How much important a change of dress is? It is the life that is important and it never existed other than in thoughts. Hence, in reality death never existed. The so called consciousness is existing because someone, somewhere in this whole Cosmos gave importance to it. But, in reality even it never existed. What existed is only a simple awareness of existence and existence of awareness.

  1. From word Death, reminds of a story from Upanishads;

    one fine day, Yamaraj going to Vaikunth to meet Vishnu as a part of their routine darshan before his work. he was doing the same thing for everyday. that day when he is about to enter vaikunth, he saw a small bird, who is sitting near the vishnu palace. Yamaraj saw her and given sarcastic smile on his face. In front of the palace, Garuda is sitting as usual. he saw Yamaraj and the small bird and the sarcastic smile. Garuda got confused and then tought for a while. He assumed that, if Yamaraj thinks about a creature with frown face, there must be a hurdle for this creature. being a saviour for the bird, he took the bird into a distant place which after seven hills crossing, near a riverbank. he put the bird into a tree which was very old banyan tree cave. and then came back and sat on the same place and kept silent. he being super bird and made it within a few minutes. then Yamaraj returned from palace after daily darshan with Vishnu. he again saw towards the place where bird was sitting. he became confused and shown a frowning face and then smiled. Gardua observed this, then by curiousity he approached towards Yama for the clarification. Garuda asked why you frowned and then smile while going and repeated the same feeling when you came back after darshan. Yama smiled and replied, there was a small bird, which should face death at a location very distant from Vaikunth with seven hills crossing and near a riverbank in a old banyan tree cave. there must be a snake which will the the bird. but when i saw the creature it was very small and i surprised that how will this bird go to such distant location. then i smiled because, everything is going on God's wish, so why should i be worry. when i returned i saw there was no bird, first i confused who as taken or how the bird could have gone there. then again i smiled because, everything is going on God's wish, so why should i be worry.

    Moral: everything happens with what is planned.we are worrying over the small things. all are planned.

    i know this is not relevant to your thought, but when i saw the word Death, it reminded me of the story and i narrated here.
